KAYAK FISHING BOOKS

I will be getting underway  for a while in a few weeks (should be back in time for the Aug meeting ). I am wondering if anyone out there could recommend a few good books about Kayak fishing to help me "waste" some time?

Thanks,

T.

Re: KAYAK FISHING BOOKS

Tom,

This thread was started several months ago and while it is not exclusively kayak fishing there are a number of great reads.

Hope this helps.

Re: KAYAK FISHING BOOKS
Have you read, "THE COMPLETE KAYAK FISHERMAN" by Ric Burnley. It's deffinately the best kayak fishing book around. I highly recommend it. It's a great read. This book is full of tips to make your kayak fishing better, more productive and more enjoyable.

Re: KAYAK FISHING BOOKS

The first orginal book was Ken Dalberts "Kayak Fishing; The Revolution" its a great book, I read it cover to cover when I first got it.  And still refer to it once in a blue moon.  Ric's book i s a good one too.  Also tons of info on the net.  If you have net access on the ship, just google Kayak Fishing and read to your hearts content.  Let me know if you have any specific questions.  Myself and Cory are the co-founders of the old VKFA and then the now TKAA.  So I am one of the old guys though my post count doesn't reflect that.  good luck with your research.

Re: KAYAK FISHING BOOKS

Nice, nice, nice.  It good to  know that I am still loved by my fellow yakfishermen.  I can always cut it off like I did a few years back.  I even think that there is photo evidence of that one.  You guys jus thave to figure out who has the pics.

I love you like a brother but with that comes the banter and leg-pulling and after signing up for my first colonostophy yesterday I should be at the age where I can get away with calling just about anyone old...................

Darrel might be a little old but he's cool.  Here's a pic of him right after he won the TKAA tourney last year:

Thanks for the info, along with the debate over gray vs. bald... Early thirties here so I know it just a matter of time before I am picked for one of those teams.
