If your anchor has a loop on the bottom, tie your anchor rope to it first. Run the rope up to the top of the anchor and secure it to the top loop with a small cable tie. ( make sure the tie you choose is not too strong, so if your anchor snags up you can give it a hard yank...and the tie will break away from the top loop and pull the anchor from the bottom giving you another chance to free it ) I have snagged pretty good there and the tie has save me more than once. Carry extra ties so you can rerig and get back in the game. Like Kevin said, bring enough rope. Those prefab rigs you get at Boaters World come with about 25' of rope and won't cut it here.
