Rays idea to do some Turtle practice in the elements sounds good to me!! Cory and I plan on taking on Rays thought at 11:00 am this Sunday (18 Nov) at Willoughby Spit boat launch, if anyone wants to join us load some warm clothes, towel, blanket & hot drink in the car along with your cold water paddling gear (no cheating, wear what you wear when fishing!) and meet us at the boat launch. I'd like to keep this limited to 15 people, members only, so post up if you want to get wet! (We'll track who signs up there...)
Please don't come just to heckle, if you want to join us plan on getting wet!
We don't plan on doing instruction, just offering a chance for everyone to get together and try out their cold water paddling plan and see if it works. We're still also trying to set up a pool for later in the year, info coming when we can finalize date / location.
