Headed out after work turned right went through the back way till it opened up to the found the reds on a point by the oyster bed. First time being that close love the kayak being able to sneek up on them. Well after throwing a spoon and a spinner bait at them for about an hour dont know what I did to not get any but maybe I should have tried a top water. It was real skinny water there some of them cruised by the yak and they were every bit of 26-30 inches. Well will continue the chase in the morning about 5. Till next time. P.S. did see the POL loading up with bait while I was paddling back.
