Spent a week with the family in Chincoteague, and only got one day to fish. Water was glassy, so no problems there. Picked up three sea bass that were very small, caught two flounder two small to keep 10” – 13” and seventy-five (or so) croaker…the biggest croaker I’d ever seen. This was fishing from my canoe with my son. We also did some crabbing while there, set four pots, two in my name and two in my son’s name, pulled in our bushel a day limit almost every day on jimmies with a couple sooks per pot and no peelers to be seen.  Crabbing from a canoe is not that bad, and my son loved it more then fishing.
