Started around 8am with the last of the incoming tide, then when it turned, I found some excellent structure and with a redfish magic proceeded to catch some fish. Got several puppy drum from 14-16 and unexpectedly got a very nice 16" striper. Soon thereafter, with the same lure, I threw to some baitfish jumping right next to the structure and got a 18" spec which went home for dinner. That was it, other structure didn't produce on the way in, but a great way to end my "mini Olympic fresh and saltwater challenge" which I started on Thursday with an 8 mile trek down a great Va. river(see freshwater reports).
