Lt Creek Jetty

What a difference a day makes....  very little wind and not so much recreational boat traffic. The commercial boys and some of the boats from the amphib base sure made it interesting at times. I fished twice as long in the same area as the day before and not one keeper flounder came to the boat. Nice size croaks gave me some pullage, did catch a 22' pup for supper. The strangest thing was a 22 striper, after I got him in the yak, I opened his mouth to remove the jig and the fish went stiff. Tried to revive it by holding it by the jaw and peddling around. Wasn't long after I released it the winds dropped out and the water was slick. I saw the fish on it's back. Peddled over and again tried to revive it this time i grabbed it by the tail and work it back and forth under water.  I felt the tail move so I sent it on it's way. I didn't see it surface after that but I'm not sure if it made it. I've never had a fish act like that, has anyone else?

Tim

Fish fear you...you are the stripers nightmare.  How long have you had this power?
