Maybe we should build a couple of nests and place a few plovers in the area.

that will keep them out for good. <GRIN>

Re: Lynnhaven Now News - Indigo Dunes Hearing

I beleive their arguement is all of that land is man made from when that was a dredge dump, so it doesn't really count as wetlands.  'Course, tell that to the crabs and fish that spawn there...um, excuse me, I mean used to spawn there if they build those <censored> condos.

Really, do we NEED more housing in this area???  Just about every block in SE Hampton roads has a house for sale/rent!

Re: Lynnhaven Now News - Indigo Dunes Hearing

The Sandler boys bought it from Wayne McClusky and they can't make any serious money off of it by just letting people use it for recreational purposes like walking the dog or fishing so they're wanting to build high price condos. They need to look across the inlet at what used to be the 'DuckInn' to see how fast those high price places to live are selling

Re: Lynnhaven Now News - Indigo Dunes Hearing

Looks like this project is all but deat until the housing and financial markets bounce back.  If you guys want to be proactive I suggest putting pressure on the city now that there is less money to be made with the alternative.
