Hit the swamps again this afternoon since it looked like it may storm. Tried using spinners and buzz baits in the shallows looking for some more big pike, but only managed one 21"er. Fiqured they might be hunkered down due to all the the storms rolling through, so tried a lillte deeper water around some structure using senkos. Bingo! Landed some nice 25-26" pike including this reel burner that measured 28".
As the storms past and the sun started to set, the bass came life chassing bait on top of the water. Switched back to spinners and that did the trick. Some nice bass. Forrest
