Okay, not really a kayak report, but wanted to play hookey from work and since my wife is at home on leave it would have been hard to sneak the kayak out. So gave Aaron a call since I knew he was off and we headed over to Smithfield. Loaded up the USS Leaksalotofwater and set off with my trusty trolling motor. Day started out okay, we found plenty of small pike and picked up about a half dozen bass in the 2-3lb. range. As the afternoon wore on the fishing slacked off for the exception of a few more small pike. Thanks for putting up with me Aaron, next time it's 20 bass for each of us! Forrest
