Bad Day to be a Bass-04/06

Despite the wind and rain, great day on the water. Went over to Smithfield this afternoon for about 3 hours and caught 10 bass between 14" and 20" and lost about that many as well. Had one try to spool me before he became unzipped and had two others make real short work of my 12lb. test. All 10 that I caught did some nice airborn displays. All were caught on Senkos. Would have some nice pics, but I guess I left my camera on and the battery went dead. Forrest

Hey I live in Carrollton, and I think I have fished the lake your talking about but I'm not sure, is it off of Waterworks Rd. Do you need some kind of sticker for your boat to fish it?

Re: Bad Day to be a Bass-04/06

This lake is on the other side of Smithfield right on the James River(Ft.Boykins). It's a private lake, but my family lives on it.

I fish my  senkos weightless and the water temp was in the low 60's. There is tons of vegatation all over lake this time of year, so senkos seem to work best. Forrest
