James River Flathead 

Bob O. and I fished for a while on Tuesday night and just when I thought I was going to get skunked before we headed in, I hooked up with a nice channel cat.  Released that one and checked what I had left for bait.  The only thing I had left was one tiny, but lively, bream.  On the hook he went and a few minutes later the rod tip was pointing down at the water.  Landed this 41" citation flathead on my new Ride 135's maiden voyage.

Released him unharmed after a couple of photos.

Very Nice Work!  Congratulations on your fish on your maiden voyage.  Looks like a good omen of things to come.  Bad side of this, you will forever be trying to find a fish that big

Great fish Wallbanger. Where did you pick up the ride. I am going to trade up to a ride soon and want to start pricing them. Hope you get back down here in VA BEACH to fish. See you on the water.

I got my Ride from Vic at ARC in Yorktown.  Call him and let him know you are a TKAA member and they will treat you right there!  He helped me out with one small issue I had with the rudder system and made things right very quickly!

Hillbeach - ARC is the place to go for a new boat, for sure. However, look in the For Sale section of this site - There is a guy up in Northen Neck with a Ride 135 for sale that he only used for his guide service for about 4 months. If still available, which I think it is, it might save you some coin.
