New kayak fisherman... Native Ultimate Review?

I recently moved back to the tidewater area and I have been trying to find a way to get out on the water and do some light tackle fishing.  I'm very interested in kayak fishing due to the fact I can get to a lot of new places, and carry it on the roof of my car.  Plus the gas is cheap!  I am very interested in the Native Ultimate as a possible boat.  It looks very versitile and stable.  I would like to get the 14.5 so that I can take my kids out as well.  I also do some waterfowl hunting and it looks like I could carry a little more in the Ultimate model as opposed to a sit on top kayak.  If anyway has any experience in these boats I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you might have, or recommendations of other boats to look at.  Other than that I am very excited about all the possibilities in this area.  Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum rsfuller. If you can and are a mind to, join us for only $15.00 and come to our monthly meetings.

Corey "Ruthless" is a rep for the Native craft and has or may have a demonstrater. Hire him for a guided day of fishing prior to the tourney and fish the tourney. You will have experience in the boat and some faniliarity with the local waters.

Oh yes, I forgot, you got to buy a boat. Well, someone is likely to pop up with a recomendation as to where to get one locally.

Good luck and welcome back to the tidewater.

Welcome back to the area and welcome to TKAA. You are correct that the Ultimate is a very versitile boat. Getting in touch with Cory as Val mentioned is a good place to start. Also check with Both Wild River and ARC to get your best deals. Good luck and I hope to see you on the water.
