Kayak hole repair..... 

Last weekend I had a few rod holders ripped out by someone....what is the best way to repair the hole and remount the holders?  thanks

I'd go to the hardware store, get some #10-24 or so stainless steel screws and lock nuts and back them up with fender washers. Use lots of Lexell or Goop Marine to seal every step of the way. If you need help let me know.

You may want to check this stuff out as well.  I've personally never used this form of Marine-Tex, but the regular fiberglass version is first class, and I don't think this company would put out something that isn't good.  Worth a shot!
