The wife (MSVEGAS) and I (hillbeach) will be there wed for are first meeting. Looking forward to getting out there. I installed two fwd anchor trolleys on our kayaks, don't know much about using them but need to try them out. Also installed a light on both. We have been cutting it short the last two times comming back in at Lynhaven so wanted to be legal.

this sounds great, but.....I can't leave work and have my yak in the water in time for for the meeting.  I would like to participate, but any alternatives?

I am sure folks will be lingering well beyond the meeting end, how late are you thinking?

Will the meeting be postponed if the weather is horrible?  The forecasts are calling for late afternoon thunderstorms.

Just checked the NOAA radar. Prediction is better that 50% for thunder bumpers this afternoon and evening. Sorry guys but a 200 mile drive into a better than even chance of lightning isn't what I want to do. And i was so looking forward to this club event.

 

With me not comming you are sure to have great weather.

Looks like the weather will be keeping me away as well. I was looking forward to my first meeting with you guys and had planned an all day fishing trip, but it's just too expensive with gas prices to make the trip with bad weather. Maybe next time. -Chad
