Your comment could be considered hurtful, if Paris comes to our site and sees this we might have to give you a warning or ban you from our forums.

I'd like to extend an olive branch to our kayak fishing stepsiblings, the POL.

How about a special Pirate division.  I'd hate to see all of them go away empty handed.

This is a trash talking thread right?

Jay's, post got me thinking. I think we should start another club. We have the turtle club and POL has the Bone Dry club (future members of the turtle club). We should start the RESCUE club. This club would be for members that turtled or were otherwise not able return to their point of origin without assistance from "other" vessels. Jeff could be the initial inductee and President of the Club. I could have RESCUE stickers by the next meeting. Any other candidates out there. I also think we should have a Bronze, Silver and Gold Turtle divisions. This would be determined by the dollar value of the gear lost and expense incurred as a result of the turtle. I ,for one, would go directly to the Platinum Turtle Club as a result of my ES incident.

Re: TKAA CHARITY TOURNEY 2008 TRASH TALKING FORUM -OFFICIAL SITE!

I heard the fishing at the Jordan Bridge is hot right now!  Trout, upper slot puppy drum, and 7lb sheepshead have been caught there lately.  SHHHHH, don't tell to many people, it could be a hot spot for the tourney though.

Word is Grommet has been seen there a couple times a week, bowed up each time.  My buddy at work sees him as he is riding over the bridge from the shipyard after work.

If Grommet can get bowed up there on a regular basis it must be good.

If it's the Jordan bridge he's probably bowed up on wrinkled-neck Brown Trout

It's better than heading under the Rudee Inlet Bridge with Trev looking for Trouser Trout...

How bout a calcutta? I'm willing to wager that me and my merry band of hand picked men can outfish any other foursome.

I heard Suber's PO refuses to let him leave FL and he won't be at the tournament.

let's see if I remember what happened last year. All the talk about the wonderful fishing in Lynhaven and Rudee. 100 anglers fishing the Southside, 8 lonely anglers fishing the Penninsula. What were the results again?? All top 3 puppy drum taken from Back River......largest flounder taken from Back River.....and let us not forget where the striper slam was taken from....Back River. I think there will be a lot more Penninsula guys making us proud again this year after looking at the entry list. Maybe a calcutta for that. I don't even think I will be fishing Back River this year, but it will definitly be on this side of the water!! Forrest

Re: TKAA CHARITY TOURNEY 2008 TRASH TALKING FORUM -OFFICIAL SITE!

Forrest, it's more likely that someone NOT from the Peninsula will catch a winning fish from Back River this year.  Everyone from out of town will likely be fishing there as well as some Southside guys too.  The Lynnhaven diehards will of course be fishing there.  Calvin and Ben and I will likely fish somewhere else......

Re: TKAA CHARITY TOURNEY 2008 TRASH TALKING FORUM -OFFICIAL SITE!

Forrest, I'm willing to put up a few $$. As a Lynnhaven faithful, I won't have to paddle more than 500 yards for the slam. Trout along the grass beds, flounder at the rip, red between the signs, striper by the bridge. With so little pressure I should be finished by 8 and napping while y'all struggle up north.

Re: TKAA CHARITY TOURNEY 2008 TRASH TALKING FORUM -OFFICIAL SITE!

When did you figure out how to catch fish, Grommet?  You'd probably be better off betting on me in a slam dunk competition.  BTW, I'd rather see an individual calcutta than teams but that is just because I don't play well with others.
