TKAA Membership

Am happy to announce that as of yesterday, TKAA has over 150 paid members.  A big thank you to those that support the club in this manner.  It's pretty amazing that in 4-5 years, we have become one of the largest fishing clubs in the area, and certainly one of the largest kayak fishing clubs on the east coast.

We started out with a few folks who wanted to fish out of plastic boats and the sport has really taken off since then.  We may not all get along all of the time, but that is to be expected in such a large group of paid and unpaid members. We need to remember it's all about fishing and not sweat the small stuff.

Wow!  I didn't realize we had that many paid members.    Yeah Wayne, we can't all 'agree' all the time.  You don't always have to 'agree' to 'get along'.  If I expected to agree with all the people I spend time with, heck, I wouldn't have a job, I wouldn't be married, and I'd have to disown my parents, brother, sister, cousins........  Disagreeing is cool with me.    We are all different but we all like to fish so let's go out and do it.

Re: TKAA Membership

Here! Here!  That's simply fantastic about the growing membership.  Although  I live up in Maryland and my visits to the TKAA homeland are all too infrequent, I feel I get great value out of the membership. Lots of good info on the board and plenty of people who have been willing to share knowledge and meet up on the water when I'm in the area. Having hit the kayak jackpot twice, the prizes at tourneys and symposia are an added draw.  Way to go!
