Cheating
Modified By jsuber on 8/27/2008 1:34:30 PM)

Someone on 321fish.com tried to submit a 25.5" flounder and used a regular piece of notebook paper to right his number on for submission to the site.  Now everyone knows that notebook paper is 8.5" wide, so two pieces make 17" and thats a pretty small gap for 8.5 more inches.

But I can clearly see the 27" mark on the ruler being used. Is this an example of the old fold the ruler under the fish to lose inches and make the fish look longer trick  or possibily a female that still thinks her index finger is 6" long because it's as long as her boyfriends.......................

Re: Cheating

He cut a section out of his tape.  Which is a good reason to use a token thats clearly a distinct length to be in all pictures.

Before calling him out on that, I would ask him to submit a piece of that paper; the possibility does exist that it is an odd size.

Re: Cheating

If you scale his foot figuring 4" w that fish is 25" or so. I have a 12W foot and used that for the 4" figure. Appears to be an accurate measurement.
