What is that grey thing siliconed in just front of the transducer? Looks like a bulkhead.

It's the partition/bulkhead that came in the boat. It's factory installed between the seat and the rear hatch.

NICELY DONE!!!

I like the "thru-hull" power fitting on the Pelican box.  Where did you find this fitting?  Looks like the power cord for the FF plugs in with a cigarette lighter style plug.

Which nav light are you using on top of the PVC?  Could we see a closer pic?

Yeah what he said.  Where did you get that adapter?

My Ride does not have that bulkhead.  Hmmmm.  Nice rigging work.

I think you will find that that front rod holder is to far away from you. It was for me. I mounted 1 closer to me to hold my working pole and turned that front holder around to hold my  rod while re-baiting/re-rigging.

Tom,

They didn't start putting the bulkhead in there until last year. Some of the boats still had scuppers. The new boats, do not have scuppers behind the seat and they have the bulkhead for structural strength.

Re: Rigged Ride 135 w/ FF & GPS installation
Thanks. It's a stainless steel/plastic 12V cigarette lighter assembly from West Marine. I got the idea from a few other guys that had done it and from talking to Vic last weekend. The whole pelican case option was a little expensive but I like having dry secure place to house the battery, FF, and GPS. I think it's a good option because you can use it to plug in anything that has a cigarette lighter adapter (cell phone, VHF radio, etc.) this is the stern light I have: http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://media.rei.com/media/621864.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.rei.com/product/723347&h=440&w=440&sz=15&hl=en&start=3&um=1&usg=__KskHqc7sU9PKzoSZQidJ-SZTLzA=&tbnid=xhfOYCuNUJJyaM:&tbnh=127&tbnw=127&prev=/images%3Fq%3DC-light%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN An afterthought I had was that I probably could have cut a little cube out of the foam bulkhead near the hull and just slid the transducer into hole. Not sure if you would lose any structural integrity of the bulkhead or if the weight of sitting down would mess with the placement or not but it would be clean and out of the way.

Nice work. I can tell you spent a lot of time on that. Best of luck.

Re: Rigged Ride 135 w/ FF & GPS installation

Ok, I see a number of cigarette ligher-style receptacles offered here and there.

I wonder if there is such thing as a cigarette lighter PLUG that has SS metal parts?  All of my plugs are plastic with cheap, thin, unprotected contacts that are "disposable" following saltwater exposure...

Re: Rigged Ride 135 w/ FF & GPS installation

Nice Ride.  I've installed a FF on my Yak and I've been wondering how to protect the battery from accidental exposure to water and now I know.  I think I'll be looking for a waterproof container slightly larger than the battery itself.  I'm new to Yak fishing as my 22' CC Pro Sports is for sell; know anyone looking let me know.  I have signed up for the tourrnament on the 27th, but I'm not expecting much other than some fish and a good time.  Look me up, I'm La Vern Phillips, "Katman".  My cell # is:
