I was wondering if anyone had any trips planned for the Labor Day weekend.  Weather permitting, I'm planning to launch from Ft. Monroe and trying my luck with flounder again and testing a hot spot for reds I heard about this week near one of the bridges near Wanchese Fish Co.  I'd also like to try my luck in Back River launcing from Messick Rd.  I lived in Poquoson most of my life and always wondered what those "crazy guys in canoes" were fishing for in such shallow water.  It would be my first time launching at Messick and I'd definitely like to tag along with anyone if they are planning to go out in Back River this weekend.
